Hi Rod
I keep an X2 in Swansea marina, mainly use it in Swansea Bay (tends to be better than anywhere else along the Gower). Got out on Monday evening but the rest of the week's been a write off. Not aware of anywhere else nearby - there is Llangorse Lake near Brecon if you know someone with a boat or join the ski club (www.llwsc.com) but think they close down around now. Hoping week after next will calm down a little in Swansea... If you want a tow or lessons then the only place I know locally is Euphoria (www.euphoriasailing.co.uk) who are based in Swansea Marina and Oxwich Bay along the Gower. Haven't been out with them for a couple of years but they're good for a tow (albeit they use a RIB) so don't expect a huge wake. |
