Default Binding advice

hi, i have a pair of large ultras and am a size 9/10 and whenever i land hard my lead foot slips forward, i then spend the next minute wriggling around trying to get it back where it should be. its very annoying. it also does it with my proofs that i have, i`m thinking perhaps a pair of closed toe bindings, does anyone else have this problem!

id probably go for a pair of closed toe bindings. we were talking about this today, one of the girls who boarded with us had a pair, every time she landed after going big her whole leg slipped through.

however, you could get a pair with 2 laces in them, one that tightens the instep and one that tightens the ankle. I have just ordered a set of liquid force transits after trying a pair the other week, they are amazing.

there are many on offer at the moment due to closeout sales! i got mine for 90 quid plus 20 quid postage on ebay from usa

yet another thumbs up for the Transists.

I have had the same problem as JayJames knows with my foot going forward in the bindings when landing a bit heavy.

I do put it down to using too much fairy liquid on the dock though. I now only smear a small amount where my heal slides down and have not had the problem for a while.

You can allways try mine when your knee gets better mate

Your feet must be a funny shape. I've got the same size feet as you and have XL ultras and they only slide forward if I'm over lubed.

Anyhow now you knee is shot you'll just have to skate.
