Default i keep landing half on the wake and half off any tips

im pretty new but i get around 4 feet of air but i have a hard time landing because i always land half way on the wake and half off i dunno how do i get higth and distance at the same time

something that helped me was I shortened my rope length.

go half a mile faster and you will be landin outside the wake everytime
