Building a skate?

I used to make skateboards back when Mike was in nappies, geesh, actually prior to him being a twinkle in the eye of his father.

Anyway, I digress, I used to bodge up skate decks with multiple layers of marine ply bonded with epoxy. We had a cool jig hooked up to create the concave. They were very light but did have a tendency to snap on big ollies...

I did see a cool web article showing how to convert a wakeboard to a wakeskate.. not sure of the url though.

simply cut the ends off your wakeboard (evenly!) so it's a length you like. Now put grip tape on the top and you have a wakeskate. That's what me trigger and marcus learnt on, and it didn't do us bad!

once me n some other dudes where so bord at are ski club so i got one of my old blank skate decks n we duck tapped some shoes 2 it! the next day my m8 will decided to test it and it went rong n it just didnt work but it was really funny ne way!

i reccomend this to ne nutter who is bord at ther ski club.
