Default Just a quick question for all

Just a quick question really, what does everyone know about Integrity boards? Apart from them been the shizzle! I know they are unavailable in this country at the moment but also that they are trying to get a distributor for next season. I know about the mouldable edges which is a great idea, but does anyone know what these are made of? For instance would they take in water once sanded or would you have to put on a sealant afterwards?
Just a few thoughts as i've been looking at one

a few years ago the first Stinger boards were made out of a material that was not the norm for wakeboard manufacture and that was of a similar type, having had one of those boards there was no problem about water ingress as they weren't a multi core type construction, just molded out of one type of material.

I would say that if they are of a similar material then i wouldn't see a problem.

The only thing i would look out for as a first production run is the overall build quality. They look great and i think Eric has done a fantastic job getting his product out on the market.

They've been going a while now so the issue of over build shouldn't be a problem. Its the idea that the core of the skate is made from one material and that the edges are made of a separate material.
Think thats one question im going to have to send to Erich himself.
But i like the idea that you can shape the edges the way you like, as it would allow me to have sharp edges at either end to allow for speed but you can then make the centre body of the skate to have mellow edges so you dont get hung up on lip tricks.

the company that makes Collin Wright's wakeboards and skates do a wakeskate of their own and it has a similar idea. the edges are sidewall constructed like a snowboard and you can shape them or de-tune them. the guy told me that the shapeable bit goes back into the skate quite a way so you could technically grind up to 10mm of the edge and you would still not penetrate to the core.
that's not an integrity skate though so it's almost irrelavent!
Integrity skates are supposedly very strong though.
sorry that was mostly a useless post
