Looking to buy a skate for the new season but unsure on what to buy. Had two LF control 43 boards with the foam top, but both delaminated in chunks and cracked 'spider web' style with hardly any use (both less than a week!) and without going on kickers or sliders! Had a LF impulse sent to me and the same happened to that! Anyone else had problems?????
Anyway, i am without a board and looking to buy for the new season. Liked both the foam top and grip tape so i'm not bothered. I would call myself an intermediate rider as i have all my baisics nailed and looking to advance to kick flips and the likes....... Any suggestions. Thanks |

ok so Integs are great and last for ever but if you are used to a 43 skate then they will seem pretty small and very light. for a similar size and feel to the Impulse and a skate that doesn't fall to bits either a GB Urban 43 or a Drew McGuckin 42/43 (i cant remember), would probably be your closest concave option in the UK. a French company "Akonite" are bringing out a bi level in spring and also a concave but i don't know the concave sizes, i think the bi is a 41.
really you need to demo a couple of skates and if whoever is selling it to you can't hook that up somehow then buy from someone who can, remember when you buy the wrong skate its you who pays for the mistake, not them. obviously try the integ too, you may find you prefer a smaller lighter skate..
