Default Joining the dark side....

...Just went out on a wakeskate just now down at Princes....

How much fun?!?!

Never got round to trying it befote through lack of time/being scared of getting off the dock, but saw it today and thought "sod it, tired of trying raleys" and had a bash on one of the finless goodwood things they have lying around...

Managed to pop one or two respectable ollies amidst lots of very small ones - is there some secret process I don't know about to really get the height? I can ollie pretty high on a skateboard...

Gave a few shuvits a try too, managed to sneak one foot on on my last attempt, but no-where near on the others...

All in all tho - wicked fun.... will definitely be giving it another go in the future!

I did similar. Thats it now you might as well ditch the straps and actually feel some progression. Plus think of all the time you save by not getting in and out of bindings

pretty much the same, except you dont roll your foot up the board, you just drag the board with it flat and lift your back foot up. You will only ever ollie as high as you lift your backfoot. ideally it should be higher than your front but that will take practice.
don't be affraid to fall on it, just try as hard as you can and get a good pre-pop going before you stamp the back.

I've just re-discovered ollie's, they're my favourite trick at the moment! it feels so cool poking it out infront of you. love it!

haha nice. Im getting more into it now, rode in harbour project (cheers sim) and was quite close on stomping some shuvs, but i split last week on an attempt. one foot on, one foot off. was in pain for about 10 seconds, started giggling and carried on riding.

get in touch with Mike at WakeboardTowersUK. He's the importer of the integritys, and im sure will sort you out with a very good deal
