i agree, sometimes i just wanna watch riding and the artsy stuff bugs me too. its a long time since "Spray"tho and pretty much everything has been done movie wise since then. these days a wake movie needs to be something special cinematically and the sound track has to be good-you can pretty much assume that the riding will be good these days and new tricks aren't being landed on wakeboards so the interest has to be from a different direction.
wakeskate movies are different cos new tricks are getting thrown every week, but i still need to find the movie interesting to watch otherwise i just think "not as good as Sfumato".
Rland will be awesome i guarantee it.....
