Default New Bindings or New Skate?

Had a go on a wakeskate last week at xtreme gene; oh man how much fun was that? Spent as much time laughing as anything else, even when I came off and managed to smack myself in the face with the board. A few of us had our first goes and every single one had a huge grin when the boat came round to give us back the handle.
Until then I'd been bent on buying new bindings to replace my hyperlite states (they're hard to get on, hard to get off and yet strangely loose when I ride) but now I'm seriously thinking about getting a skate and some shoes instead and chucking the wakeboard in the shed for a bit. Hmm if only I had endless money.

i started skating when i finished my winch cause its easier than getting bindings on and off, then i went over the cable and only rode skate for a while and then i tried my wakeboard on the cable and after one lap it felt so bloody uncomfortable being strapped in i've binned the board off and brought a good skate

and that was the best decision i've ever made.

i dont know if i'm just noticing them more now but there seems more and more skaters everytime i go to the cable.

so yeah bin the board and buy a skate

if you're really strapped for cash just buy some grip and put it over your wakeboard and sell your bindings for more cash to ride with. haha. but seriously get on the skate!!
