Default Winch

Has anybody got a winch for sale?? Ive spoken to Mike but he thinks he may have already sold wendy winch, just got to wait and see.

In the meantime if anybody has one for sale at a fair price let me know. Or if any kind person has some designs / knowledge they are willing to share I will cobble one together myself.

Ive got a 9hp engine would this be enough for deep water starts??

Cheers

Dave

If Phil's going to do a deep water start with it you'll need a 90HP not a 9HP

9HP is more than enough. Our current winch is 9HP an I'm in the process of building another with a 6.5Hp engine. Feel free to PM me If I can help I will.

I was thinking we could just take the tyre of one of the V8 discos and wrap some line round the rim for Phil. 3.9ltr should do it for dock starts!!

PS. Ive increased the ballast to 800lbs in the back today so if their are not many tomorrow we can take mine and see what the wake is like.
