think of the lift carier system on the cable, or a button lift on a ski slop. If you had something like that down the middle between the two winch's then you could just clip the handle to a carrier and it would drag back. and you could go both ways as long as there's someone at the other end to take it off.
you don't want to be dragging a rope behind you while riding. death
